Privacy

What we collect

We collect very little, and almost all of it is information you choose to give us:

• What you submit through forms on this site — your name, business, work email, industry, approximate team size, current document platform, and anything you write in the message field.
• Aggregate analytics through Vercel, which tells us which pages are useful without tracking individuals across the web.
• If you arrive from an advertisement or a tagged link, we record which campaign it was, the page you landed on, and the site you came from, and keep that alongside your enquiry so we can tell which campaigns are worth running. It is held in your browser for the length of your visit and travels only with the form you submit — it is not sent to an advertising network.
• Standard server request data — IP address, user agent, timestamps — retained briefly for operations and abuse prevention.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange a demonstration, prepare a proposal, understand which parts of this site are useful, and meet our legal obligations.

We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t send marketing email to people who only filled in a demo-request form.

Vendors

A small number of vendors process information on our behalf, each limited to what their function requires:

• Vercel — website hosting and aggregate analytics.
• Google Workspace — our internal email and document operations.
• Any email delivery or CRM provider we connect to the demo-request form, which will be named here once configured.

Cookies

We don’t set marketing or tracking cookies on this site. Functional cookies may be used to keep the site working correctly.

Campaign information is kept in your browser’s session storage rather than in a cookie. It is never attached to a request, no other site can read it, and it is discarded when you close the tab.

Customer environments

Information inside a deployed Cogneros environment — your documents, your index, your users’ questions — is governed by the written agreement with your organization, not by this website notice.

Your corpus is kept for your organization alone. It is never pooled with another customer’s material, and it is not used to train models offered to anyone else.

Retention

Contact and demo-request submissions are kept until you ask us to delete them. Customer records are kept as long as tax and contractual requirements require.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email us and we will handle it.

Residents of California, Colorado, and the EU/UK have additional rights under local privacy law. In practice we extend the same handling to anyone who asks, wherever they live.

Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed to anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting existing customers will be communicated directly.
